Colorado boasts over 300 day of sunshine per year! Summers are beautiful with average highs in the mid 70's to 80's and winter averages in the mid 50's. Sunscreen and sunglasses are important as the altitude is higher making the sun stronger than lower altitudes.
The best time to visit Colorado? Depends on your personal interests. Colorado has four distinct seasons. Winter is great for winter sports enthusiasts who enjoy skiing, snowboarding and ice climbing, fall is a great time to see the changing of the aspens to their bright yellow and gold colors. Spring is unpredictable and has a combination of warm sunny days to snowy wintry days. Summers are great for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy activities as hiking, biking, fishing, golf and horseback riding.
