July 4th Fireworks at Falcon Stadium

The City of Colorado Springs and the United States Air Force Academy are celebrating Independence Day at Falcon Stadium on Monday, July 4th.  The Colorado Springs Philharmonic will be performing for the city's 4th of July celebration.  There will also be games, music and fireworks on July 4 at the Academy. The event is open to the general public and will be held at Falcon Stadium with free admission.

Schedule of Events:

Gates open at 4 p.m. 
Austin Healey Car Show, which will run 4-8 p.m. 
Colorado Springs Philharmonic at 7 p.m.
Air Force Academy Band at 8 p.m.
Fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.

A number of food and beverage vendors will be on site.
Tailgating will be authorized.  The following items are prohibited inside the stadium stands, including coolers, barbecue grills, pets other than working service dogs, backpacks and fireworks.  
Also, the following items are prohibited on the Academy grounds: fireworks, firearms and other weapons.
